Access Statement for The Wellington, Waterloo Studios
Introduction
The Wellington Studio is a ground floor level, open plan studio, designed for easy living. It accommodates two persons. We hope we have provided all of the information you might need. If you have any queries please do contact us. We shall try to help.
Pre-Arrival

• Enquiries and bookings can be made via email, fax or phone
• The nearest bus stop is in the village of Belton beside Belton House - just a 3 minute walk
• The nearest train station is just 3 miles away in Grantham - on the Kings Cross to Edinburgh line
• There are accessible taxis at the station
• The bus station is just a 3 minute walk from the station, with a regular 30 minute service to Belton
• We can arrange for shopping to be delivered on arrival
• There will be a Welcome Supply of essentials for your refreshment on arrival
• There is a hotel bar and restaurant and a garden centre cafe within short walking distance
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• Arrival information will be provided prior to your arrival
• Keys may be collected at any time after 14:00 on your day of arrival
• The entrance is via a private 5-bar gate which may be closed for your privacy
• There is a private parking facility for two cars beside The Wellington studio on gravel standing
• The Wellington entrance is at ground level, across gravel drive, footpath and wooden decking
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area
• The Wellington entrance has action triggered lighting for ease of entry
• Access is at ground level
• You will have collected the keys from an outside security area
• You will have full independent access to the studio at all times
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
• There are no public areas associated with The Wellington
Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc

Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Bar area, Take Away & Cafe
• The Wellington has a dining table and chairs for two people – either indoors or outdoors - and a fully equipped kitchen
• There is a bar and restaurant facility within walking distance at De Vere Belton Woods resort
• There is a cafe within walking distance at neighbouring Belton Garden Centre
• Delivery service information from Grantham outlets is provided in the studio
• Details of a variety of restaurants with many types of cuisine are provided in the studio
Laundry
• There is an external Utility Room with washer/dryer, iron and board for the use of both studios
• There is an external rotary clothes drier
• The gas central heating boiler is located in the Utility Room
• Heating times are pre-set, but you are invited to adjust settings if required
• Full instructions are provided
Leisure Facilities
• Neighbouring Belton Woods resort offers health, beauty and leisure facilities for non-members
• Neighbouring Premier Events & Leisure offers bicycle hire and outdoor pursuits
• There is a golf driving range available to the public at the Belton Woods resort
• There are a number of local nature walks. Details are provided in the studio

• The Wellington has an open plan kitchen, dining, lounging and sleeping area
• The design is clean, fresh and contemporary
• Bedroom linen and towels are provided
• There is gas central heating with thermostatic radiator controls
• Bedroom furniture is high quality wood - wardrobe, dresser, bedside cupboards
• Ample wooden coat hangers are provided in the wardrobe
• Bedding is lush hotel quality
• Lighting and radio alarm are provided by the bedside
• Additional underbed storage facilities are offered
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]
• The Wellington has an open plan kitchen, dining, lounging and sleeping area
• There is a separate, private wet room with modern toiler, hand basin and shower facilities

• There is a gas central heated towel rail, shaver socket and illuminated mirror
• Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided
• An honesty basket contains a selection of regularly forgotten toiletries for purchase
